Camu camu is ripened on plantations under the watchful eye of a certified grower. To prevent the fresh berries from spoiling, they are dried on the spot and ground into a fine powder. Thanks to this technology, the vitamin C content of the powder is preserved without the slightest loss. The hard baobab fruit, which grows in the heart of African nature, is cleaned of its skin and seeds. The very valuable pulp is then dried and ground into a fine powder. It is not modified any further. In contrast, the only root in this mix, maca, thrives in the harsh conditions of the Peruvian mountains. The tubers of the plant are dug up, dried and ground into a fine powder. The low drying temperature guarantees that valuable substances are not lost.
