The Nice smart wireless blind controller is used for remote control and precise positioning of motors for blinds, roller shutters, awnings, pergolas, or curtains. The module operates on the Z-Wave wireless network and is installed flush-mounted into standard electrical boxes with a mounting depth of 60mm. It requires a 220–240V mains power supply and enables precise adjustment of both the roller shutter position and slat tilt. It supports AC motors with mechanical or electronic end position settings and can be connected to various types of mechanical switches, including push-buttons, rockers, and specialised shutter controllers. There are six operating modes available for controlling classic roller shutters, awnings, pergolas, curtains, and Venetian blinds with 90° or 180° slat tilting. The device also supports control via mobile apps for Android and iOS.

Wireless technology and range
The Nice smart wireless blind actuator 2 uses the modern Z-Wave protocol for signal transmission. The built-in Z-Wave 800 series chip ensures a stable connection with compatible control units and provides extended wireless communication range throughout the entire installation. The module also functions as a Z-Wave signal repeater, increasing the overall reliability and stability of the network for other connected, non-battery-powered devices.
Secure communication and energy consumption
The module supports Z-Wave network security protocols, including S0 encryption with the AES-128 standard and S2 security, which uses the PRNG cryptographic mechanism. These technologies help protect wireless communication from unauthorised access. The integrated electrical parameter monitoring function measures the active power and energy consumption of the connected drive in real time. The measured data is transmitted wirelessly to the central unit, where it can be further processed and used to monitor consumption and optimise operating costs. The compact plastic housing simplifies installation in the limited space of electrical boxes. Wiring is made easier by an integrated push-in connector for wire connection with internal linking of the neutral and live N and L terminals. The module can also be integrated into smart home systems with support for Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa voice assistants.
