Using Nicorette®
Nicorette® Icemint Gum 4 mg medicinal chewing gum contains nicotine and is intended to be taken by mouth. It is suitable for nicotine cessation for smokers with a lower level of nicotine dependence (20 or fewer cigarettes per day). The recommended duration of therapy is at least 12 weeks, during which time the number of puffs per day should be reduced depending on the perceived need to smoke. Discontinue treatment after chewing gum consumption has dropped to 1-2 chewing gums per day. It is not recommended to eat, drink or smoke while chewing. It is important to chew very slowly at first. After about 30 minutes, the entire amount of nicotine is released and absorbed by the oral mucosa. Sometimes it can take 1-2 days to get used to the taste of medicinal chewing gum.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Do not use this product after the expiry date on the box. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.

One medicinal chewing gum contains nicotine 4 mg (in the form of nicotini resinas 20 mg). nOther ingredients are a chewing gum base with an antioxidant (contains butylhydroxytoluene E 321), xylitol, peppermint oil, sodium carbonate, acesulfame potassium, levomenthol, light magnesium oxide, composed liquid mint aroma, hypromellose, sucralose, polysorbate 80, pre-swollen starch, titanium dioxide (E 171), carnauba wax and talc, quinoline yellow aluminium lacquer (E 104), purified water.
