Mechanical Decoupling of Fans with Silicone Mounts
By replacing the standard metal and plastic screws in your fans with Noctua NA-SAV2 mounts, you ensure convenient, quick, and easy installation for all fans, which then absorb vibrations. Using high-quality silicone ensures that fans with Noctua NA-SAV2 mounts will be several times quieter. This is due to the transfer of vibrations through the silicone structure. The fans remain mechanically decoupled from the computer case.
