Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 PWM Sx2-PP

Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 PWM Sx2-PP
The Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 PWM PC fan set includes two fans specifically designed for cooling high-performance builds. They are primarily intended for push-pull configurations on air coolers or for side-by-side mounting on water cooling radiators. A key feature is the deliberate setting of slightly different low speeds, which effectively suppresses disruptive harmonic noise. This approach prevents the periodic humming that occurs from the interference of two identical fans running next to each other, contributing to quieter operation with an airflow of up to 91.58 CFM.
Key features of the Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 PWM Sx2-PP PC fan set
- Set includes two fans with slightly different speeds
- Different speeds suppress harmonic noise in push-pull configurations
- Blades made from Sterrox LCP material ensure high stability and reduce vibration
- etaPERF motor with SupraTorque technology maintains performance under high resistance
- Precise control is provided by the PWM connector
- SSO2 bearings use magnetic stabilisation of the rotor axis
- Small gap between the blades and the frame increases aerodynamic efficiency
Advanced aerodynamics of the Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 fan
The blades are made from a Sterrox Liquid-Crystal Polymer composite, which has high strength and low thermal expansion. This makes it possible to maintain a small gap between the blade tips and the frame. The Progressive Bend impeller features progressively curved blades that improve pressure distribution and contribute to smoother airflow through dense cooler fins.
etaPERF motor and SupraTorque technology
Speed control is handled by the etaPERF motor with an integrated NE-FD6 circuit. This system provides smooth commutation and reduces motor torque at low speeds. SupraTorque technology delivers additional torque on start-up and maintains stable performance even under high static pressure, such as that created by a dense radiator or dust filter.
Optimisation for PC fan setups
The fans use second-generation self-stabilising oil-pressure bearings. A rear magnet placed closer to the axis stabilises the rotor, leading to greater precision and lower vibration levels. The set uses a deliberately set speed difference between the two fans. This approach effectively suppresses the unpleasant pulsating sounds that occur when two fans with identical speeds run concurrently.
