Antioxidant Glutathione
Strong antioxidant in high concentration. Glutathione (GSH) is a small peptide molecule composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine. It is produced by every cell in the body, with particularly high concentrations of glutathione found in the liver. Glutathione is present in all animal cells and is localized in the cytosol and mitochondria. Although there are two forms of glutathione, reduced and oxidized, only the former is present in cells under physiological conditions. This product contains glutathione in a reduced active form for optimal bioavailability.
