Octenisept 0.1g/100g Dermal Spray 250ml

Octenisept is an antiseptic (disinfectant) dermal spray for direct external local application. Octenisept is used repeatedly to kill bacteria and prevent infections caused by pathogenic microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi, to promote wound healing processes. Octenisept can be used on both intact and broken skin, mucous membranes, and their adjacent areas for a maximum of 14 days. Octenisept can be used by children, adolescents and adults without medical consultation for the antiseptic treatment of intact skin, superficial injuries (such as grazes, scratches, small cuts and burns). Octenisept can be used for aseptic treatment after insect bites, etc.

💊 Use

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Octenisept. Use based on a doctor's recommendation: repeated, time-limited antiseptic treatment of burns and larger wounds, such as bedsores, leg ulcers and post-operative scars, antiseptic vaginal and cervical douches, disinfection of the glans penis. Octenisept can be used for moist wound dressings. Unless otherwise specified, spray Octenisept 0.1g/100g dermal spray solution (hereinafter Octenisept) onto the target area to ensure it is completely moistened. In all cases, a contact time of at least 1 to 2 minutes must be observed after application before further procedures are carried out. These instructions must be followed carefully to achieve the desired effect. Sufficient efficacy is only guaranteed for a maximum of 2 hours after the application of Octenisept. To date, there is experience with continuous use for a maximum of 14 days, therefore Octenisept should only be used for a limited period of treatment.

🌿 Ingredients

Active substances: 0.1g octenidine dihydrochloride and 2.0g phenoxyethanol in 100g of dermal solution. Other ingredients: Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Gluconate, Glycerol 85%, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide Solution 100g/L, Purified Water.

📦 Storage

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Protect from frost. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package after “Use by”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Use within 12 months after first opening, taking into account the expiry date stated on the package.
