Olfen is used for the localtreatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, whichhave an inflammatory non-degenerative origin, i.e. for the relief of pain and inflammation of muscles and joints. Olfen contains the medicinal substance diclofenac. It belongs to a group ofmedicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is specially formulated to be rubbed into the skin. Olfen reduces pain and inflammation, relieves swelling. Used topical back pain relief.
The registered medicinal product Olfen gel is intended for the treatment of:
back, muscle and joint pain

Dosage and method of use
Apply Olfen gel 3 - 4 times a day to the painful area. Depending on the size of the painful area, apply an amount of gel corresponding to the size of a cherry or walnut. Gently rub the product into the skin at the site of pain or swelling. When rubbing the gel, you can feel a slight cooling effect. If the hands are not the place to treat, wipe your hands in a paper napkin and thenwash. Use the product only on intact, unwounded skin.
Contraindications
This medicine can be used by adults and adolescents from the age of 14 years. The use of the product in pregnancy and during breastfeeding is decided by the doctor. Read the package insert carefully. Olfen gel contains the active substance diclofenacum natricum.
Storage
Always keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
