Oh my gin. Oh my Žufánek. OMG Gin Žufánek is an honest Czech dry gin, London style, that can confidently go head-to-head with the world's best. And it does. The German magazine Eye for Spirit awarded it full marks in 2014 – one of very few to achieve this – and it brought home a silver medal from the Berlin Craft Spirit Awards. You no longer have to look abroad for a great gin. African grains of paradise pepper, lavender, fresh orange peel, lemon balm and the Czech national symbol, small-leaved linden. These are the key components of the strictly secret combination of 16 herbs and spices. They are macerated in extra-fine spirit before undergoing a triple distillation process. The result is a fantastically rich flavour and a distinctly herbal aroma. OMG Gin Žufánek is best enjoyed on its own with a cube of ice, or mixed with a quality tonic in a 1:3 ratio. Be warned, Žufánek is incredibly drinkable, and you probably won't stop at just one.
