Cherry Barrel is a special limited edition from the popular Peru El Eden series. The original lot, known for its syrupy body and notes of blackberry, black cherry and chocolate, rested for several weeks in a whiskey barrel. The wood and residual distillate give the coffee a subtle liqueur character that perfectly complements its dark fruit profile. The barrel method does not play a major role here - it just elegantly highlights what is already naturally present in the coffee: cherries, chocolate, plum sweetness. The result is a balanced, clean and surprisingly smooth barrel coffee.
How does it taste?
In the cup you'll find cherries, black cherries, plums, grapes and chocolate, accompanied by a light touch of whiskey and a note reminiscent of Mon Chérie candies. The body is round and syrupy, the aftertaste long, warm and beautifully clean.
