High brightness and laser technology
DLP technology displays images in a native Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The DuraCore laser light source produces 5000 ANSI lumens of brightness, which keeps the image clearly visible even without completely darkening the room. The high contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 contributes to text legibility and the display of subtle transitions in both dark and light scenes. The projector also supports the display of Full 3D content.
Maintenance-free design
The optical engine of the Optoma ZH462 projector is hermetically sealed and IP6X certified, fully protecting it from dust ingress. This design contributes to long-term reliability and consistent brightness without the need for regular filter cleaning. The laser light source offers a lifespan of 30,000 hours in both standard and ECO modes, eliminating the need for lamp replacements. The projector supports 24/7 continuous operation. Power consumption ranges from 128W in economy mode to 205W at high power. The compact chassis, with its low weight of 3.4kg, uses a proportion of recycled plastics. The eco-friendly approach also includes low energy consumption and the absence of mercury in the laser light source.
Flexible installation and connectivity
The Optoma ZH462 projector offers flexible placement. The short throw ratio, ranging from 1.13:1 to 1.47:1, reduces shadows and allows for large image projection from a shorter distance. It projects an image with a screen size from 762mm to 7620mm from a distance of 1 to 8 metres. The 1.3× manual optical zoom, along with vertical and horizontal keystone correction of ±30°, simplifies precise image alignment. The design also supports installation at any angle within a 360° range. It uses two HDMI version 2.0 ports for connecting signal sources. Integration into control systems is provided by RS232 and RJ45 interfaces. It also offers a 3.5mm audio output and a powered USB-A port.
