The ORICO docking station is a hybrid dock and external enclosure that allows you to combine a 3.5″ SATA drive (HDD or SSD) with an M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD in one device. This provides flexible storage – you get both capacity and speed in one box for home, office or data-intensive use.

The docking station supports drives up to 8TB for M.2 SSD and 18TB for 3.5″ SATA, allowing you to create enough space for any data. Supported operating systems include Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, so the device is universally usable.
Smooth and fast data transfer
The ORICO docking station's interface to the computer is via USB-C with a transfer speed of up to 10Gb/s, which provides sufficient throughput for high-performance SSDs and for transferring large volumes of data from HDDs. An external 12V/3A adapter is available for power, supplying energy to both drive bays. The HDMI output can handle 4K image transmission at 60Hz.

The ORICO docking station is equipped with a powerful fan and a perforated design for effective heat dissipation – this helps to keep the drives at a safe temperature even under prolonged load.

The construction combines aluminium alloy and ABS plastic, which provides both strength and an aesthetic appearance. The body is stable and at the same time robust enough for frequent use. The size of the device provides plenty of space for disks and comfortable handling – thanks in part to the magnetic design of the cover.
