Why take Orthomol Natal?
It contains nutrients important for the development of the child. Maternal intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to normal brain and vision development of the fetus or breastfed baby. The beneficial effect is achieved here with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA. Folic acid contributes to the growth of germ tissues during pregnancy. Iron is involved in the normal production of red blood cells and haemoglobin. Calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and folic acid have a beneficial effect on cell division processes. Vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin D, folic acid, iron, zinc, selenium and copper contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Calcium is needed to maintain normal bone health. Vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin D as well as zinc and magnesium contribute to the maintenance of normal bone health. Vitamin D is involved in the normal absorption/utilization of calcium. Iodine and selenium contribute to normal thyroid function. In addition, calcium and magnesium contribute to normal muscle function. Contains cultures of lactic acid bacteria.

Glucose, resistant corn dextrin, calcium lactate, magnesium citrate, citric acid, fish oil (4.2%), calcium carbonate, aroma, calcium gluconate, cornstarch, gelatin (beef), choline bitartrate, magnesium carbonate, moisturising agent: glycerol, L-ascorbic acid, polishing agent: hydroxypropylme¬thyl cellulose, anti-caking agent: silica, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, zinc gluconate, sweetener: steviol glycosides from stevia, cultures of lactic acid bacteria (Lactococcus lactis, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobac-terium bifidum), Calcium D-pantothenate, ferrous fumarate, nicotinamide, extract from the axamotlum erecta (Tagetes erecta) rich in lutein, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, pyridoxine hydrochloride, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, beta-carotene, thiamine hydrochloride, colour: iron oxides and hydroxides, stabilizer: D-xylose, riboflavin, polishing agent: gellan gum, copper sulphate, extract of the axamotlum erectum (Tagetes erecta) rich in zeaxanthin, glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrolistic acid, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, chromium chloride, sodium molybdate, potassium iodide, D-biotin, sodium selenate, phylloquinone, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin.
Recommended dosage
Dissolve the contents of one sachet (= daily serving) in approximately 150-200 ml still water or fruit juice and take daily with or after meals. Next, take the brown capsules (omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, trace elements) and the white capsule containing cultures of lactic acid bacteria. You can take your daily dose during the day at any meal.
How long should Orthomol Natal be taken:
Your diet before, during and after pregnancy plays an important role in your baby's development. A diet rich in micronutrients during breastfeeding ensures that you will be able to provide your baby with the nutrition she needs to grow and live. Taking Orthomol® Natal during pregnancy and breastfeeding can improve the intake of sufficient micronutrients for you and your baby. Dietary supplementation with Orthomol® Natal can be recommended even for women who wish to have a child. Micronutrients are needed every day, so regular long-term use is recommended.
Notice
Orthomol® Natal contains readily available carbohydrates (8.1 g per daily serving). This product should only be used in cases of glucose metabolism disorders with careful metabolic control. Orthomol® Natal powder contains iodine. If you have thyroid hyperfunction (hyperthyroidism), consult your doctor before taking Orthomol® Natal. During pregnancy, the need for iron and often magnesium is particularly high. It is therefore possible that you may need to take these substances in addition. Your gynaecologist will be happy to advise you on how to proceed. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose (daily serving). Keep out of reach of children. The following harmless side effects may occur when taking Orthomol® Natal - Yellow discolouration of urine or slight discolouration of breast milk due to vitamin B2 content. The reactions of women during pregnancy can vary. For this reason, some women may experience mild indigestion after taking a capsule containing lactic acid bacteria.
