Glucosamine is an organic chemical compound that is an amine derivative of glucose. It is a substance that is synthesized in the body in small quantities and the ability to produce it decreases with age. However, the substance can also enter the body through food - it is found in seafood - in the chitinous shells of crustaceans, and also in the form of dietary supplements. OstroVit uses glucosamine sulfate, a form of the compound that is considered the most bioavailable, which positively affects the quality and absorbability of the dietary supplement.
Active ingredients
- MSM - methylsulfonylmethane - organosulfur compound. It is a substance that occurs naturally in animal organisms and plants and is characterised by its excellent solubility in water. MSM is usually found in foods, but because the substance is very sensitive to temperature changes and sunlight, only small amounts of this ingredient can be used and absorbed by the human body.
- Chondroitin - an organic compound belonging to the group of mucopolysaccharides. It is an endogenous substance that is naturally formed in the human body and whose content in the body decreases with age. However, this ingredient is also found in some foods and dietary supplements. OstroVit uses chondroitin sulphate - a form of the compound that is characterized by the highest bioavailability among the available forms of chondroitin.
- Hyaluronic acid is an organic chemical compound that is a polysaccharide from the group of glycosaminoglycans. This substance, which in the human body forms part of the intercellular matrix of the dermis, is the main component of synovial fluid. OstroVit uses sodium hyaluronate - a derivative of hyaluronic acid in the form of a sodium salt, i.e. a form that occurs naturally in the organism, which positively affects the bioavailability of the compound.
- Vitamin C - also called ascorbic acid, is an organic chemical compound from the group of polyhydroxy alcohols. It is a water-soluble vitamin that, as an exogenous substance, must be supplied to the body from outside. Vitamin C is mainly found in fresh vegetables and fruits. The substance is found, among others, in blackcurrants, strawberries, kiwis, but also in peppers, Brussels sprouts and cabbage. Vitamin C supports normal collagen production, ensuring optimal functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage and gums, as well as teeth and skin. The substance also contributes to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism and to the proper function of the nervous system. Vitamin C also helps reduce feelings of fatigue and exhaustion, supports proper immune system function, and in addition helps maintain proper psychological function and protect cells from oxidative stress.

L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), methylsulfonylmethane, chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine sulfate 2KCL (from crustaceans), inulin, hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), anti-caking agent: silica.
Recommended dosage
Dissolve 2.5 g (2.5 scoops) in 100-150 ml of water. Take 3 servings per day. Use the included measuring cup (1 ml).
