It is a substance naturally synthesized in the human body, but the body's ability to produce it decreases with age. This ingredient is found in bovine cartilage and also in dietary supplements.
- Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble organic chemical compound that, as an exogenous substance, must be regularly supplied to the body through food or dietary supplements. In food, it is found in peppers, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, kiwi, strawberries and blackcurrants. It promotes proper collagen production to ensure optimal functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, teeth and skin, and also helps maintain proper functioning of the nervous system. In addition, this compound contributes to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism, helps maintain proper functioning of the immune system, and supports the protection of cells from oxidative stress. In addition, ascorbic acid contributes to the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion, facilitates the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E and increases the absorption of iron.
