Butyric acid is an organic chemical compound from the carboxylic acid group. It occurs naturally in hard cheese, milk and silage. Replenishing butyric acid is important because it most often does not reach the small intestine, where it is the main energy substrate for our intestinal epithelial cells. It undoubtedly has a beneficial effect on our bacterial flora, the walls of our intestines, as well as on our other organs and tissues. Disorders of the bacterial flora of our intestines are a very common cause of dysbiosis, which is caused by poor nutrition or long antibiotic therapy. In this case, the intestinal bacteria are unable to produce the right amount of butyric acid, which can lead to many digestive problems, the consequences of which can be much more serious.

Recommended dosage

Take 2 tablets daily.
OstroVit Sodium Butyrate:
Take 1 capsule 2 times a day preferably with food. Wash it down with water.

Take 1 capsule daily, preferably after meals. Wash down with plenty of water.

Brush your teeth thoroughly after every meal or at least twice a day, or as directed by your dentist, to help fight plaque. For children under 2 years of age, consult your dentist. Children under 6 years of age should use pea-sized amounts under adult supervision.
