Otrivin for children 0.5 mg/ml is indicated for children aged 1 to 11 years. Otrivin reduces excessive congestion of the nasal mucosa. Otrivin quickly relieves a stuffy nose and makes breathing easier.
Dosage
Children from 1 to 5 years:
Applied by an adult. 1 to 2 drops in each nostril once or twice a day. Maintain an interval of 8 to 10 hours between doses. Do not exceed a total of 3 applications per nostril per day. It is recommended to take the last dose of the day shortly before going to bed.
Children from 6 to 11 years:
Applied by an adult or applied under adult supervision. 2 to 4 drops in each nostril two or three times a day. Maintain an interval of 8 to 10 hours between doses. Do not exceed a total of 3 applications per nostril per day. It is recommended to take the last dose of the day shortly before going to bed.
Method of use
To restore the patency of a blocked nose caused by acute rhinitis, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis or sinusitis. It can also be used on the recommendation of a doctor in otitis media, when it reduces the leakage of the nasopharyngeal mucosa in the area of the mouth of the Eustachian tube.
