Triple Cask in the name means that the whiskey matured in three types of barrels until it reached the required age (in this case 16 years).

Production

Whiskey matures in American oak barrels for the first filling, in bourbon barrels and in Sherry Oloroso barrels. When the necessary maturation at home has elapsed, the whiskeys are then mixed and a unique combination is created, which rests in the barrels for at least another 6 months. Bourbon soaked in oak wood gives the whiskey a vanilla and coconut touch, oloroso lends the drink its tones of dried fruit and spices.

This 16-year-old whiskey brings a little more vanilla and fruit than its 12-year-old variant. In addition, years have added more fragrances, especially oak spices, to this whiskey in barrels.
