It is particularly suitable for patients who are at risk of using non-steroidal antirheumatic drugs (e.g.: ibuprofen, diclofenac). These include, for example, patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or elderly patients. After taking it, you don't have to worry. Paracetamol does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery.

Panadol tablets are coated capsule-shaped tablets, which makes the tablet easy to swallow. In addition, Optizorb technology ensures rapid dissolution of the tablet directly in the stomach. Panadol 500 mg is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age, therefore providing a versatile solution for the whole family
Panadol 500 and dosage
Adults and adolescents aged 15 and over:
1-2 tablets as needed up to 4 times a day at least 4 hours apart. One tablet is suitable for persons with a body weight of 34 - 60 kg, 2 tablets for persons with a body weight over 60 kg. The highest single dose is 1 g (2 tablets). The maximum daily dose is 4 g (8 tablets). For long-term treatment (more than 10 days), the dose in 24 hours should not exceed 2.5 g (5 tablets).
Teens 12-15 years:
500 mg of paracetamol (1 tablet) at least 4 to 6 hours apart. The highest single dose is 1 tablet. The maximum daily dose is 3 g (6 tablets). Do not administer more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Children 6 - 12 years:
250 - 500 mg of paracetamol (1/2 to 1 tablet) at least 4 - 6 hours apart. The single dose is 1/2 tablet for children with a body weight of 21 - 32 kg, 1 tablet for children with a body weight of 33 kg and above. The maximum daily dose for a body weight of 21 - 24 kg is 1.25 g (2 and 1/2 tablets), for a body weight of 25 - 32 kg is 1.5 g (3 tablets) and for a body weight of 33 - 40 kg is 2 g (4 tablets).
Storage
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use Panadol 500 after the expiry date marked on the packaging. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully. The product is not intended for children under 6 years of age. If you are breastfeeding, use only for a short time.
Notice
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Panadol Novum:
▪ if you have liver dysfunction
▪ if you have reduced kidney function (it is essential that you take lower doses of paracetamol)
▪ deficiency of the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase
▪ in haemolytic anaemia (anaemia from the breakdown of red blood cells)
▪ if you are too thin
▪ if you have had an allergic reaction in the past after taking medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid or other painkillers and fever reducers from the group called. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), as a similar allergic reaction after paracetamol cannot be ruled out.
