Support for more HDR formats – Panasonic Ultra HD Blu-ray players support a wider range of HDR formats. They now also support HDR playback with HDR10+ dynamic metadata, which is the next-generation standard. They are also compatible with Dolby Vision. This synergistic effect is created by original technologies for superior picture quality, delivering an even more precise image.
Superior Colour and Detail
The unique 4K High-Precision Chroma Processor uses technology from Panasonic's Hollywood Laboratory, the base for research and development focused on Blu-ray discs. 4K (4:2:0) image colour signals are translated into 4K (4:4:4) during chroma upsampling. The result is a natural texture and depth.
Reduced Vibration for Premium Sound Quality
The highly rigid chassis with a low centre of gravity – a newly developed drive base with a strong 3D steel plate fixes the optical drive to the centre of the two-layer chassis, reducing vibration and noise during disc rotation. And the front and side panels are made of aluminium. This increases the rigidity of the chassis and reduces vibration.
A Wide Selection of Outputs for High-Quality Sound and a Stylish Design
2-channel (XLR/ RCA) and 7.1-channel outputs – the 2-channel and 7.1-channel outputs are also separate. The 2-channel output is equipped with a balanced XLR terminal in addition to the RCA terminal. Reference design – the front and side panels are made of thick aluminium with an alumite finish. This reduces vibration and increases the chassis' rigidity, which contributes to high-quality sound and a premium design.
Online Content in 4K Too
Compatible with 4K VOD – YouTube, Prime Video and NETFLIX now support 4K online video distribution, so you have a wide range of high-quality content at your fingertips. Sharp, beautiful images are ensured by processing high-resolution Internet video signals with Panasonic's original 4K High-Precision Chroma Processor.
