The flu and the common cold may seem like the same illness, but they're not. Influenza is caused by the influenza virus and is usually spread by droplets in the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes or is in close contact with others. Symptoms of flu include fever, chills, body aches, inflammation of the nasal mucosa, cough and fatigue. Colds are generally less serious than flu and are usually caused by different types of viral or bacterial infections. Colds usually improve on their own within a few days without the need for treatment. PARALEN GRIP products are suitable for any stage of cold or flu and are designed to bring relief from multiple different cold and flu symptoms, allowing you to focus on your daily activities.

Paralen Grip Flu and Pain is indicated for adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older for the relief of flu and cold symptoms. These symptoms include fever, headache, chills, stuffy or blocked nose, sore throat and sinus pain, muscle and joint pain.
Composition of Paralen Grip Flu and Pain
One tablet contains paracetamolum 500 mg, coffeinum 25 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloridum 5 mg.
Dosage and method of use
The table below shows the individual and maximum daily doses of Paralen Grip Flu and Pain by age and body weight. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Adolescents aged 12 years 33-43 kg take 1 tablet as needed at least 6 hours apart. Adults and adolescents aged 12 years 43-65 kg take 1 tablet as needed at least 4 hours apart. Adults and adolescents 12 years and older over 65 kg take 1-2 tablets as needed at least 4 hours apart.
Contraindications
Do not take PARALEN® GRIP Flu and Pain if you are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine, phenylephrine or any of the excipients. Further contraindications are listed in the package leaflet. PARALEN® GRIP Flu and Pain is an over-the-counter medicine for internal use. Read the package insert carefully and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C in the original packaging to protect the product from moisture. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging after the abbreviation EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
Notice
Excessive caffeine intake should be avoided when taking this medication (e.g. coffee, tea and some canned drinks) as this can lead to restlessness, insomnia and rapid heartbeat.
