Paralen hot drink without sugar is intended to reduce fever, especially in acute infectious diseases such as flu, colds or other infectious diseases. Paralen hot drink without sugar is also intended to relieve pain of various origins, e.g. headaches, toothaches, menstrual pains, muscle or joint pains accompanying flu and colds, and back pain. Only on a doctor's recommendation is the product used for neuralgia (pain felt over a nerve) and for joint and muscle pain that is not a symptom of a flu-like illness. Paracetamol, the active ingredient in Paralen sugar-free hot drink, counteracts pain and reduces fever. This product is intended for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age. The pack contains 12 bags.
Dosage and method of use
Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Recommended dosage of paracetamol: 12-15 years old, body weight 40-50 kg: single dose 1 sachet (500 mg paracetamol); maximum daily dose 6 sachets (3 g paracetamol) over 15 years, body weight up to 50 kg: single dose 1 sachet (500 mg paracetamol); maximum daily dose 8 sachets (4 g paracetamol) over 15 years, body weight over 50 kg: single dose 1-2 sachets (500-1 000 mg paracetamol); maximum daily dose 8 sachets (4 g of paracetamol). Adults and adolescents (over 15 years of age) take 1-2 sachets dissolved in a cup of hot (not boiling) water, several times a day as needed. The interval between doses should not be less than four hours. The maximum daily dose of paracetamol is 4 g (8 sachets). The maximum single dose for a patient with a body weight of up to 50 kg is 500 mg paracetamol (1 sachet). The maximum daily doses by age and body weight are listed above. For long-term treatment (over 10 days), the daily dose should not exceed 2.5 g of paracetamol (5 sachets). No more than 8 sachets should be taken in 24 hours. Adolescents aged 12 to 15 years are given 1 sachet dissolved in a cup of hot (not boiling) water, as needed, several times a day at six-hour intervals. If necessary, the interval may be shortened to 4 hours, but the maximum daily dose must not be exceeded. The maximum daily doses by age and body weight are listed above. No more than 6 sachets should be taken in 24 hours. Method of administration: Pour the contents of the bag into a cup and pour hot, not boiling, water over it. Let the powder dissolve and drink the warm drink. Duration of treatment: If the symptoms (fever, pain) do not subside within 3 days, or if the symptoms worsen or unusual reactions occur, consult your doctor about further use of the medicine. Do not take Paralen Hot Sugar Free Drink for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor. With long-term use of Paralen hot drink without sugar (several weeks), an ongoing check-up with a doctor is necessary.
Contraindications
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine. If necessary, you can take Paralen hot drink without sugar during pregnancy. Take the lowest possible dose to relieve pain and/or fever and take it for the shortest possible time. If the pain and/or fever does not ease or if you need to take the medicine more often, contact your doctor. Breastfeeding women can take the product for 1 day, longer than 1 day can be taken only after consulting a doctor.

Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. This medicinal product does not require any special temperature storage conditions. Keep in the original packaging to protect the product from moisture. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging after the abbreviation EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. The shelf life after dissolving in hot water is 30 minutes. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
