Canagan cat food feeding guide
The recommended feeding amounts are a guide only; the amount of food you serve should be adjusted to your cat's age, activity, environment and condition. Canagan can be introduced during weaning and served moistened with water. Your cat must always have access to clean, fresh water. When feeding Canagan for the first time, the manufacturer recommends a gradual transition over one week:
Day 1: 25% Canagan + 75% old food
Day 3: 50% Canagan + 50% old food
Day 5: 75% Canagan + 25% old food
Day 7: 100% Canagan
If your cat is overweight, reduce the amount of food by 10%. If it is underweight, increase the amount by 10%. Continue until your cat reaches a healthy weight. Store the food in a cool, dry place.
