CIANO Filter CF 40 Black

The CIANO CF 40 internal filter is a compact solution for keeping the water clean in aquariums up to 40 litres. It provides comprehensive triple water filtration, combining mechanical, biological and chemical cleaning. With a pumping capacity of 200 litres per hour and a low power consumption of 4W, it is an efficient and economical accessory. Its design also allows for flexible installation in both horizontal and vertical positions, adapting to the layout of your aquarium.

Three stages of filtration

The CIANO CF 40 filter works on the principle of three-stage water purification. Mechanical filtration traps visible debris, such as leftover food and dead plant matter. The biological stage then promotes the colonisation of beneficial bacteria that naturally break down harmful nitrogenous substances in the aquarium. Finally, the chemical insert with activated carbon absorbs unwanted odours and water discolouration. Thanks to the option of horizontal or vertical installation, the filter adapts to different types of tanks, including those with a low water level.
