EUKANUBA Veterinary Diets Intestinal is intended to alleviate acute nutrient absorption disorders and to compensate for maldigestion including chronic pancreatic insufficiency. The food improves the function of the intestinal tract and regulates lipid (fat) metabolism in case of high fat content in the blood (hyperlipidemia). The formulation contains MOS (mannanoligosaccharides), which bind potentially pathogenic bacteria, preventing them from adhering to the intestinal wall and ensuring their safe excretion in the stool. It also contains beet pulp. This medium-fermentable fiber produces butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) that is the preferred energy source for enterocytes. Supports the health of the intestinal tract and promotes optimal stool consistency. The overall low fat content reduces the load on the pancreas and helps with digestion, which can be compromised by gastrointestinal problems.
