This mineral is key for many animals – it supports the strength of tortoise carapaces, the development of snail shells, and the quality of feathers and bones in birds. The analytical composition shows a calcium content of 30% and phosphorus of 0.03%. Thanks to its ground surface, the bone is more accessible to animals and also effectively helps to trim their beaks.
