Hobby Elstein Radiator ceramic infrared heater 100 W

The Elstein ceramic infrared radiator from Hobby serves as a heat source for keeping reptiles and insects. It does not emit visible light, only infrared radiation, and therefore does not interfere with the light regime of animals. The lifetime of the emitter is approximately 25 000 hours. The temperature of the heating surface ranges from 290 to 490 °C. The shape and finish of this dark radiator are designed for efficient heat transfer. In combination with a reflector, even higher efficiency can be achieved. The low weight of the radiator allows reaching the operating temperature within 8 to 10 minutes. The Hobby Elstein ceramic infrared heater is splash-proof and corrosion-resistant. A ventilation hole on the threaded part ensures air and moisture exchange, reducing the risk of damage.

Safety Alert:
Due to the high operating temperatures, Elstein infrared emitters may only be used in heat-resistant devices with an E27 porcelain or metal base and accidental contact protection (e.g. wire basket or mesh). Ensure good air circulation during operation. In the cold state, the radiators must not come into contact with moisture as the vapour pressure in the ceramic during subsequent heating can damage the surface of the radiator. Electrical connections should always be made by professionals. Damaged emitters must be replaced immediately, and replacement should only be carried out with the power disconnected. This ceramic infrared dark emitter is not a light source within the meaning of EU Regulation 2019/2015. As a special light source for reptiles, it is not subject to energy efficiency labelling requirements.
