IMUdog XL is optimally formulated with a high concentration of dried native colostrum (colostrum). The synergistic action of its probiotic and prebiotic cultures creates an impenetrable layer on the intestinal barrier, consisting mainly of immunoglobulins and vitamins, which are contained in the colostrum to a high degree in natural, not synthetic form. What are probiotics and prebiotics?

Probiotics are live bacterial cultures that positively influence the composition of the intestinal microflora and therefore have an effect on the immunity of the whole organism. They are indispensable both in daily prevention and therapeutically after ATB treatment, when the intestinal microflora is destroyed. It is important to note that probiotic bacteria ingested in the feed do not permanently colonise the gut, so their preventive administration is necessary.

Prebiotics are then certain non-digestible components of the feed that represent an important substrate for the growth and activity of probiotic cultures and intestinal microflora. Our unique product is inulin, a substance extracted from the chicory root.

What is colostrum?

Colostrum, less commonly known as colostrum, is one of the oldest and most unique foods found in nature. It is as old as motherhood itself, because colostrum is the milk of any mammal that is produced during the first 24 to 36 hours after birth.
