The INVITAL mesh breeding box serves as a safe space for raising fry or temporarily isolating fish in freshwater and marine aquariums. It consists of a lightweight plastic frame and a fine nylon mesh, which, unlike all-plastic boxes, does not obstruct water circulation. This ensures the same temperature and chemical properties of the water inside and outside the breeding box, minimising stress on the isolated animals. It attaches to the aquarium using the included suction cups.

Maximum water flow and safety for fish

The main advantage of the mesh design is the free diffusion of water, which sets the breeding box apart from all-plastic alternatives. The fine mesh allows for continuous circulation, guaranteeing a constant supply of oxygen and maintaining identical water temperature and hydrochemical properties. This minimises osmotic and thermal stress on the isolated animals. Furthermore, the plastic frame and nylon mesh used are completely inert, releasing no harmful substances into the water and not affecting its chemical parameters.

Simple installation and storage

The breeding box is easy to assemble thanks to a modular push-fit system that requires no tools. It is fixed to the inside of the aquarium glass using a set of included suction cups, which ensure stability even with stronger water flow from the filter. If you are not currently using the breeding box, its plastic frame can be easily disassembled into individual parts. This makes it very compact and takes up almost no space. Maintenance is also simple – just rinse it under running water.
