INVITAL plastic aquarium grass, 33×12×22cm

This INVITAL artificial aquarium grass decoration brings the look of living flora to your tank without any of the maintenance. The dense structure of the blades serves as a safe hiding place for fry, shrimp and smaller fish species. The plant is made from a chemically inert polymer that is non-toxic to all aquatic life and does not affect the water parameters. Thanks to the weighted base, you can easily anchor it in the substrate. It is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

The look of live plants with no maintenance required

This artificial plant mimics the texture, density and movement of real aquatic flora. Unlike live plants, however, it requires no special lighting, fertilisers or trimming. Its appearance remains unchanged and it requires no complex maintenance. This makes it a great solution for aquariums where live plants cannot thrive due to a lack of light, nutrients, or the presence of herbivorous fish that would destroy them. Maintenance is limited to simple cleaning.

Safety first

The decoration is made from a chemically inert and non-toxic polymer. This material does not release any dyes or harmful substances into the water, which means it does not alter the chemical composition of the water in any way. The pH, general hardness (dGH) and conductivity values remain unaffected. The plant is completely safe for all species of fish, shrimp and the sensitive nitrifying bacteria that are key to the biological balance in the aquarium. The dense structure of the blades also provides an ideal hiding place for shy fish or fry.

Easy installation and simple maintenance

The plant is firmly set in a weighted base that serves as an anchor. Once covered with sand, gravel or another substrate, the decoration stays securely on the bottom of the tank. This design prevents it from floating up due to water flow from the filter or the activity of the fish. The smooth surface of the blades limits excessive algae growth. If it gets dirty, simply remove the plant and clean it under running water without using any chemical products.
