A special substrate mix from Lucky Reptile for tropical terrariums, which also contains sand. The high quality of the individual components and their carefully balanced ratio guarantees great structural stability and excellent moisture retention. Even when completely dry, the substrate quickly absorbs water when added and becomes optimally moist again. The pH of the substrate (5.5–6.5) is the same as the humus soil in tropical rainforests. The substrate contains no chemicals or fertilisers. It is recommended to use Lucky Reptile Hydro Drain and Hydro Fleece as a base layer under the Jungle Bedding, which will prevent the substrate from becoming waterlogged if there is too much water in the terrarium (a common problem in tropical terrariums).
