How to clean your dog's teeth with the Petosan toothbrush:
Step 1 (Days 1–3):Apply a little toothpaste to your index finger and let your dog lick it off. Gently move your finger along the teeth and gums to get your dog used to it. Reward your dog. If your dog is happy, move on to Step 2. Never use human toothpaste, as it can be harmful to your dog if swallowed.
Step 2 (Days 4–14):
Repeat the process using the Petosan finger toothbrush to wipe plaque from the surface of the teeth and gums. Do not force your dog and only clean where your dog allows. Do this regularly and reward your dog. If your dog is happy, move on to Step 3.
Step 3 (From Day 15):Introduce your dog to the toothbrush. Apply the paste to the toothbrush and let your dog lick it off. However, do not let them bite the brush. Move the brush slowly and gently along the teeth. We recommend starting by cleaning only part of the dentition and gradually moving on to the whole set of teeth. Reward your dog. Be patient and repeat the process every day.
