Urine pH Control – promotes the formation of acidic urine, helps reduce the formation of struvite crystals and supports their dissolution. The moderate protein content helps reduce the availability of substrate for urease-producing bacteria. The high palatability increases the patient's willingness to consume the food long-term.
Do not give your pet veterinary diets without a vet's recommendation! You should also consult your vet at least once every 6 months about whether to continue using the food. If your pet's condition worsens in any way while using the diet, contact your vet immediately.

Increased water intake can help to dilute the urine and further reduce the risk of crystal formation. For the dissolution of struvite uroliths, an initial feeding period of 5–12 weeks is recommended. For long-term use, a feeding period of up to 6 months is recommended, and the dog should undergo regular check-ups with regard to its diagnosis.
