Use: Dental hygiene in dogs is carried out regularly at one-day intervals with a toothbrush and a reasonable amount of toothpaste. Always choose a soft toothbrush, sized to the individual being treated. The amount of paste is determined by the size of the individual and should not be too large. When cleaning, we start in the more easily accessible part of the occlusion, on the labial surface of the teeth, approximately in the range of the canines and incisors. After the manipulation in the oral cavity is accepted by the treated individual, we proceed distally along the labial surfaces of the teeth bilaterally to the molars. It is advisable to distance the cheeks from the teeth so that the cleaning process can be visually controlled. Move the brush in a circular motion over the surface of the teeth, concentrating mainly on the labial surfaces where most plaque is aggregated. Labial/palatal surfaces are less accessible and cleaning is possible in cooperating individuals. For calm dogs it is possible to clean with one person, in case of restless dogs it is advisable to clean with the help of a second person who fixes the dog.
