Urocid paste 100 g

Urocid® paste is flavoured, readily accepted by animals and its combined mechanism of action makes it particularly suitable as a nutritional supplement for urinary tract protection. Urocid paste reduces the pH value of urine with its methionine and cranberry extract. Proanthocyanide in cranberry extract (vaccinium macrocarpon) reduces infectious pressure on the urinary tract by its antiadhesive effect on uropathogenic E. coli. Methionine contained in Urocid paste dissolves struvite urinary stones and prevents their formation by lowering the pH, cranberry extract has an effect against urinary tract infections. The preparation can also be administered in acute renal insufficiency.

Administration and dosage

Administer Urocide paste at the same time or after feeding directly into the mouth or mixed into the feed. Serve plenty of drinking water.
Cats:
1/2-1 teaspoon 2 times a day
Dogs:
1-3 teaspoons 2 times a day
