By breaking down droppings and urine in the bedding, it prevents the formation of harmful gases and unpleasant odours that can irritate animals' respiratory tracts. At the same time, it dries out the litter layer, limiting the conditions for the multiplication of mould and pathogenic microorganisms. In this way, it creates a healthier and cleaner environment in the coop, which you will particularly appreciate with animals prone to respiratory illnesses.

Easy application in dry and wet form

You can apply the product in two ways depending on your current needs. For regular maintenance, simply use it in dry form by sprinkling the powder directly onto the bedding. For more intensive treatment or when putting down new bedding, a bioactive culture is more suitable. Prepare this by mixing the required amount of the product in 2–4L of standing water. After 15–20 minutes of activation, apply the solution evenly to the area. Simply repeat the application once a month or after every complete bedding change.

Solution even for outdoor runs

Jalka poultry bacteria are not only intended for chicken coops, but also work in outdoor areas. The product is also suitable for muddy runs, where it helps process organic material and reduce odour. For the bacteria to function correctly in the outdoor environment, the temperature must not drop below 10°C. Apply to a slightly damp surface so that the microorganisms can activate properly and start working. This ensures more hygienic conditions for your poultry even outside enclosed spaces.
