The basic Bluetooth connection allows for immediate control from your phone. For advanced features, such as voice control via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, remote access away from home, or full smart home integration using the Matter and ZigBee protocols, the light must be connected to a Philips Hue Bridge (sold separately).
