Occusept eye drops are suitable for disorders of tear production and dry eye syndrome, for acute or chronic conjunctivitis of non-infectious origin, to soothe irritated eyes due to external conditions (sun, dust, smoke, etc. ) or due to wearing contact lenses and prolonged visual strain. The solution can be used to rinse the eyes when they are affected by irritants and to remove foreign bodies.

How does Occusept work?
- The extract of the shoot of the safflower has astringent (astringent) and antimicrobial effects.
- Hypromellose forms a protective film on the surface of the eye.
- Boric acid and sodium tetraborate have antifungal and antibacterial effects.
- Zinc sulphate is antimicrobial.
- The combination of zinc sulfate and boric acid provides a preservative effect.
- LipoZoom forms a lipid layer that prevents evaporation and disruption of the continuous tear film.

Dry eye syndrome
In tear production disorders and dry eye syndrome.

Dry eye syndrome
A disease resulting from a break in the tear film and loss of tears.
- Risk factors: higher age, dry air, smog, the wind, smoky environment, insufficient fluid intake, alcohol consumption, taking certain medications, the use of contact lenses, hormonal changes.
- Symptoms: burning, cutting or eyestrain, redness, itching, the sensation of a foreign body in the eye, light flush, impaired vision, headaches.
- These syndromes often occur when watching a monitor, reading or driving a car.
How to apply eye drops correctly?
First and second step
1. Wash your hands, dry them with a clean towel, if water is not available, use an antiseptic hand product.
2. Unscrew the cap from the bottle and put it away in a clean place.
Third and fourth step
3. Tilt your head, open your eyes wide and look up.4. Gently pull down the lower eyelid with your index finger to expose the conjunctival sac.
Fifth and sixth step
5. With the other hand, place the drop bottle over the conjunctival sac, taking care not to bring the dropper into contact with the eye.
6. Squeeze the vial and inject the product into the conjunctival sac.
The seventh and eighth steps
7. Close your eyes, gently massage the inner corner of the eye for about 30 seconds, keep your eyes closed for another 2 minutes.
8. Wipe the eye area with a clean napkin. Close the drops, and finally wash your hands again.
Ingredients
Hypromellosum 5 mg, Acidum boricum 8.5 mg, Natrii tetraboras decahydricus 2 mg in 1 ml, Aqua purificata, Euphrasia officinalis extractum fluidum, Natrii chloridum, Zinci sulphurici heptahydricus, Phosphatidylcholine, Phosphatidylethanolamine, Tocoferols alpha acetas, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Polysorbate 80, Dinatrii edetas dihydricus, Natrii hydroxidum. Without cytotoxic preservatives (BAC).
Dosage and method of use
Dose the product into the conjunctival sac (usually 1-2 drops / 2-3 times a day). It can also be used for a long period of time if needed. MEDICAL DEVICE, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND INFORMATION ON SAFE USE CAREFULLY. TIP for patients who use more than one type of ophthalmic medication at the same time: wait at least 2 minutes before applying the next product. The order of the eye drops does not matter, but the eye ointment should be applied last.
Preservation and expiry
Store at temperatures of 5-25 °C. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Keep in original packaging. Close tightly after use and store upright. After opening the vial, the product can be used for 30 days. Expiration: 18 months
