The TRENK cast iron fireplace stove is designed in accordance with modern trends. The stove is made of high quality grey cast iron, which is painted black. It is universally applicable, whether in living rooms, hallways, garden houses or workshops. Quality cast iron construction ensures long life. The stove is carefully sealed and has no removable ash container. The combustion chamber and walls are made of durable and high quality cast iron. The combustion chamber can do without fireclay or vermiculite. Separate primary and secondary air supply ensures optimum energy yield. The product has been designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with European Standards (EN) and therefore holds the CE mark. The stove can be connected from a smaller diameter (stove) to a larger diameter (chimney) with a simple reduction (double ring). The reverse is not possible.

Spatial conditions

If the floor is made of flammable or heat-sensitive material, the stove must be placed on a non-flammable base. This pad must be large enough to cover a larger area than the surface of the stove itself: should extend 40 cm from the side and rear and 60 cm from the front. The minimum distance from the heat-sensitive material to the side and rear must be 45 cm. In the area of direct heat radiation, the heat-sensitive material must be at least 120 cm away from the stove. The stove must be placed on a horizontal surface and the room in which it is located must have a sufficient supply of fresh air for combustion. If an extractor hood or other air appliance is installed in the room, it is necessary to ensure a regular supply of fresh air through a special opening with a protective grille, which must always be free and not blocked.

Suitable fuel

The stove is designed exclusively for heating with dry wood or wood briquettes with low ash content, such as beech, hornbeam, birch and similar species. The fuel humidity should not exceed 20%, otherwise greasy soot is formed which can clog the chimney. Do not burn any waste, especially plastics - they contain harmful substances that damage the stove, chimney and the environment. In addition, the incineration of these materials is prohibited by law. Do not use particleboard scraps as it contains adhesives that can cause the stove to overheat.
Recommended amount of fuel to be added at one time:
Split wood (length ~33 cm) 3 to 5 pieces approx. 2.5-5 kg
Wood briquettes 2 pieces approx. 2-4 kg
Note:
When adding fuel, add only the amount that corresponds to the required heat output at the time. After adding sufficient fuel, open the air regulator until the fire is well alight. Only then set the controller to the position corresponding to the desired heat capacity, in accordance with the technical instructions. Place the stove in a room of the appropriate size to achieve the desired temperature that corresponds to the rated output of the stove. Avoid operating the stove at minimum power. Overnight, set the regulator to open only as much as necessary so that you have enough heat in the morning to relight the fire without any problems.
