The Poulain brand was founded in 1848 in Blois, France. It takes its name from its founder, Victor-Auguste Poulain. His vision was to make chocolate accessible to all, as at that time it was a product mainly for the aristocracy.
The founder himself believed that the basis of an honest product is quality ingredients. Therefore, from the very beginning of the brand, emphasis has been placed on the origin of the cocoa, the careful sorting of the cocoa beans and the quality of the production process.
