There is no MCT oil like MCT oil
- Production, quality and cleanliness are critical parameters that vary between manufacturers. Power C8 MCT Oil is really much more effective than regular coconut oil due to its composition. More than 50% of the composition of coconut oil is lauric acid (C12), which in practice is no longer considered a medium-chain triglyceride (MCT). So while it has its benefits, lauric acid is not a quick source of energy.
- Of all the fats, caprylic acid (C8), which makes up only 6% of coconut oil, is the most efficient and fastest to convert to ketones.
