Priessnitz compress for knees and elbows, 65–80/33cm, green

The Mamavis wrap brings relief to the knee and elbow areas. It is designed for adults and, thanks to the removable inner cotton part, it can be used for both dry and wet applications. The outer band fastens with a hook-and-loop fastener, which easily adjusts to a circumference of 55 to 75cm. The inner part also includes a pocket for inserting herbs, which expands its range of uses. The entire wrap is made of pleasant cotton that is gentle on the skin.

How to use and prepare

The wrap offers several application methods. For a classic Priessnitz compress, soak the inner cotton part in cold water, wring it out well, and place it inside the outer band. Apply the compress to the affected area and secure it with the hook-and-loop fastener. Your body heat gradually warms the cold fabric, which leads to localised blood circulation. For a warm application, you can heat the inner part on a radiator or with an iron, for example. You can also insert a heating pad or herbs into the pocket to enhance the effect.

Material maintenance

Caring for the wrap. The outer band and the inner removable part are washed separately in the washing machine at a temperature of up to 40°C. Fasten the hook-and-loop fastener before washing. To maintain the functionality and lifespan of the material, do not use fabric softener or a tumble dryer. Before next use or storage, let both parts dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated place to prevent the formation of mould.
