Priessnitz neck wrap for adults, 45-55/11cm green

The Mamavis Priessnitz neck wrap is designed for adults to relieve discomfort. The circumference is adjustable from 45 to 55cm using a Velcro fastener. The wrap consists of an outer belt and a removable inner cotton part, which can be used for both wet and dry compresses. It also includes a pocket for herbs to enhance the effect.

How to use and prepare

The wrap helps to soothe symptoms associated with the common cold, such as a sore and scratchy throat, hoarseness or a dry cough. It is also used as a supportive method for tonsillitis or laryngitis. The principle of the Priessnitz compress is based on the combination of a cold, wet inner part and a dry, outer insulating layer, which causes the gradual constriction and subsequent dilation of blood vessels with local blood circulation. To prepare, simply soak the inner part in cold water, wring it out and place it back into the belt. Then apply the wrap to your neck and fasten it with the Velcro strap.

Material maintenance

Wash the outer belt and the removable inner part separately. After washing, let both parts dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area. This prevents the formation of mould and ensures hygienic use. When washing, do not use bleach or harsh agents that could damage the structure of the cotton fibres and reduce the product's lifespan.
