The Mamavis neck wrap is designed for adults to use on the neck area. The outer cotton band is complemented by a removable inner part and a pouch for herbs. Thanks to the hook-and-loop fastening, the circumference easily adjusts to fit necks from 55 to 65cm, so the wrap stays firmly in place without slipping. The material is pleasant to the touch and does not irritate the skin, even during prolonged wear.

How to use and prepare

The wrap can be used as a cold, wet compress or as a dry wrap for warmth. To prepare a Priessnitz wrap, soak the inner cotton part in cold water, wring it out lightly and apply it to your neck. Then, fasten the dry outer band using the hook-and-loop fastener. The body will warm up under the compress, causing blood vessels to dilate and speeding up regeneration. This method provides relief for tonsillitis, laryngitis, hoarseness, a dry cough, or a sore and scratchy throat. You can also place herbs in the pouch to enhance the effect.

Material care

Wash the outer band and inner part separately. After washing, let both parts air dry thoroughly to prevent mould growth. Harsh cleaning agents and bleaches can damage the structure of the cotton fabric. Washing separately and drying correctly contribute to the wrap's lifespan and help maintain its functional properties.
