Directions for use and preparation
The compress works on the principle of a Priessnitz cold sweat compress. For the wet option, soak the inner removable part in cold water, wring it out, and insert it back into the band. Then place the band on the shoulder and fasten it. The cold initially causes blood vessels to constrict. Subsequent heating and sweating dilate the blood vessels again, which promotes local blood circulation in the tissue. For the dry option, do not wet the inner part; it serves only as a thermal layer.
Material maintenance
To maintain functionality and hygiene, wash individual parts separately. After each use, let the inner part dry thoroughly to prevent mould. When washing, do not use aggressive detergents or bleaches that could damage the fibre structure. Thorough drying before storage extends the product's lifespan.
