The Mamavis healing care wrap is designed for adults to apply to the shoulders, neck and thoracic spine. It consists of an outer belt and a removable inner part, allowing for both wet and dry use. Thanks to its cut, it covers the entire neck, shoulders and upper back. A hook-and-loop fastener secures the wrap on the body, preventing it from slipping even during movement or rest. The outer waterproof layer protects your clothing from getting wet.

Directions for use and preparation

Use the wrap in two different ways. For a cold (Priessnitz) compress, soak the inner part in cold water, wring it out thoroughly and insert it into the wrap. Apply this to the affected area. A warming sensation soon follows. For a warm application, heat the inner part and insert it dry. You can boost the effect by using herbal infusions to soak the inner part. The compress helps with rheumatic problems of the shoulder joints, pain in the neck and thoracic spine or overloaded trapezoid muscles.

Material maintenance

To maintain functionality and hygiene, correct care of the wrap is essential. Wash the outer belt and the removable inner part separately. Do not use bleaches or aggressive detergents that could damage the fibres. After washing, let both parts air-dry. Thorough drying prevents mould growth and ensures the product lasts. Do not tumble dry the wrap or place it on a direct heat source.
