Precision aluminium platter with optimal stability for perfect sound
The 1.7kg heavy platter, made from die-cast aluminium, has undergone a process of precision machining and balancing to achieve top-class performance. The platter has a ring of thermoplastic elastomer on its inner circumference, which helps to dampen incoming resonances and thus minimise wow and flutter. It is also anti-magnetic, which is an important aspect when using MC-type cartridges. The DEBUT EVO 2 turntable sits on three height-adjustable, dampened feet that guarantee optimal stability. The feet effectively limit the transfer of vibrations from the surroundings to the turntable chassis and also allow the turntable to be levelled on an uneven surface.
Advanced suspension and excellent damping for clear sound without disruptive vibrations
The EVO 2 uses a sophisticated suspension system to eliminate unwanted vibrations as thoroughly as possible. This is because the cartridge and stylus are very sensitive components that transfer captured vibrations to the speakers, where they can manifest as audible mechanical noise. The advanced sandwich technology of multiple TPE damping layers, combined with high mass, is an excellent solution for effectively isolating the motor in the DEBUT EVO 2.
Maximum precision and clean design
The EVO 2 lets you easily change the playback speed (33 or 45 rpm) with the simple push of a button. In addition, the platter's rotational speed is electronically controlled with maximum precision, which delivers more accurate and stable playback. To maintain a clean design, there are no buttons, switches, or markings on the visible part of the chassis; the three-position speed selection switch is therefore hidden on the underside of the chassis. The switching power supply included with the turntable powers a precision DC/AC generator that drives the motor. Advanced motor speed control via the generator ensures optimal synchronisation and rotational stability.
