The Pro-Ject T1 EVO + OM10 turntable is the result of a meticulous manufacturing process and a selection of premium materials, offering an elegant, stylish design and a rich, vibrant sound. The EVO suffix in its name signifies an evolution of the acclaimed T1 turntable series. The design of the EVO model focused on both improving user convenience (by adding electronic speed switching) and enhancing sound quality, now featuring a pre-installed Ortofon OM10 cartridge (originally the OM5). No plastic parts were used in the manufacture of the chassis, which is carefully crafted with no hollow spaces inside. This effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations. The T1 EVO turntable is fitted with a heavy, zero-resonance glass platter. The design completely eliminates the resonances common in other budget solutions that use plastic, aluminium, or other lightweight platters. The specially chosen feet ensure optimal isolation of the turntable from ambient vibrations and reduce the possibility of acoustic feedback. The belt from the T1 EVO's motor drives a new, larger sub-platter, housed in an ultra-precise (0.001mm) main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. This well-thought-out drive system is the foundation for the anti-resonance platform, which ensures the smooth and stable rotation of the platter necessary for the tonearm and stylus to track the groove accurately.

Precision tonearm and high-quality cartridge

The turntable's straight tonearm is based on proven Pro-Ject designs. An effective length of 8.6 inches, a rigid one-piece aluminium construction, and an excellent low-friction bearing are crucial for tracking accuracy. The headshell is integrated into the tonearm, and in addition to its elegant appearance, this design prevents vibrations, offering a significant improvement over commonly used removable, glued, or otherwise mounted headshells. The T1 EVO turntable comes with a high-quality Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge pre-installed, which features an elliptical diamond stylus. It delivers a lively and precise hi-fi sound that is certainly not standard in this price category.

Plug & Play installation with no setup required

The T1 EVO turntable is delivered from the factory with the cartridge correctly aligned and the tracking force already set. After unpacking the turntable, simply place the drive belt on the sub-platter, fit the glass platter with the felt mat, and add the dust cover (all included). No further setup is required by the user. Just connect the turntable to your amplifier. Also included is a directly attached, heavily shielded phono cable with a semi-symmetrical geometry, low capacitance, and RCA termination, designed by Pro-Ject.
