Helpful treatment after proctological surgery, for hemorrhoids, anal rugae and fissures. PROKTIS-M® PLUS Rectal Ointment is effective due to the presence of white petrolatum, petrolatum oil and hyaluronic acid, which, thanks to their ability to retain water, create a moist environment, thus hydrating, accelerating and improving the natural process of re-epithelialization and tissue renewal.
Indications
Auxiliary treatment in the healing process of anorectal canal conditions after proctological surgery, internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, Cryptids, anal ragas, fissures and perianal fistulas.
Method of administration (instructions for use)
Wash your hands before and after using the medical device. Break the seal of the tube with the opposite side of the cap. Apply an appropriate amount of product to the area to be treated and massage gently. Close the tube with the lid. Intrarectal application is facilitated by a special cannula included in the package.
- Screw the cannula onto the tube.
- Remove the cap from the cannula.
- Squeeze the tube until the ointment flows out of the holes in the cannula.
- Insert the cannula into the anal opening and squeeze the tube again to let some ointment flow out.
- After use, clean the cannula and cover it with a protective cap.
Ingredients
White petrolatum and petrolatum oil (953 mg/g), sodium salt of hyaluronic acid (0.1 mg/g), propylene glycol, laureth-9, phytophytosol-escin beta-sitosterol, glycyrrhetinic acid phytosomes, BHT.
Recommended dosage
Adults and children:
Perform two applications per day, one in the morning and one in the evening, preferably after stool excretion.

In these cases, or if you experience other side effects, discontinue treatment and consult your physician to initiate appropriate treatment. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Don't swallow. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or if it is not perfectly intact when first opened. Do not use after the expiry date. The shelf life refers to the product properly stored in unopened packaging. Since no specific clinical studies have been conducted, in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult a physician before using the product.
