The device includes two 10GbE SFP+ ports and two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports for high-speed connection to your company's infrastructure. This configuration significantly increases network throughput and accelerates the transfer of large amounts of data between workstations. Users can seamlessly share large files and transfer demanding media without unnecessary waiting. In addition, support for AES-128-GMAC technology accelerates SMB protocol signing, which enhances file sharing security in the Windows operating system.
Expansion options via the PCIe slot
The integrated PCIe Gen 2 ×2 slot enables you to install additional expansion cards to increase the application potential. Users can fit additional 2.5GbE, 5GbE or 10GbE network adapters to speed up backups. Installing a compatible card expands the functional capabilities of the entire network storage according to the company's current needs. A QM2 card can also be placed in the slot to add an M.2 SSD cache.
Uninterrupted operation
This model includes a 250W redundant power supply to ensure the continuous operation of business services. In the event of an unexpected failure of one power supply unit, the second integrated power supply immediately takes over. Two independent power supplies prevent outages of critical business applications and data services. This hardware solution minimises the risk of unplanned system downtime.
Hybrid cloud storage and backup
The Hybrid Backup Sync tool consolidates backup, recovery and data synchronisation to other storage, remote servers or clouds. HybridMount and VJBOD Cloud gateways connect the local system with public cloud services. The local cache provides fast access to stored data with very low latency. System snapshots also record the status of data and protect files from accidental deletion or ransomware attacks.
Cloud account protection
The integrated Boxafe application backs up company data from Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cloud services. This helps users protect emails, calendars, contacts and files stored on cloud drives. This additional layer of protection prevents the loss of important information due to human error or service failure. If needed, data can be restored from the backup immediately and without long delays.
Performance optimisation with SSD cache
The storage supports SSD installation to accelerate data reading and writing in demanding applications. Qtier technology automatically moves frequently used data to fast SSDs and stores less active files on high-capacity HDDs. The combination of different drive types effectively balances overall performance and the purchase cost of storage capacity. In addition, the SSD over-provisioning feature extends the life of the drives by adding dedicated space.
